This is a 1988 Ford F150 Super Cab long bed truck with a V-8, Automatic Transmission, and 4 Wheel Drive. The body is in pretty good shape for it's age. The only "body" problems are, some small repairs have been done just above the running boards as you can see in the pictures. Also, the tailgate latch is broken, and you must use a screwdriver to open the tailgate. This could probably be easily fixed. The tailgate does work otherwise, and is in relatively good shape. The engine does smoke after warming up. However, it does run strong. It only has 105,000 miles on it, so I'm not sure what the issue is. It seems to have plenty of power. we used it slightly until we parked the vehicle. We last used it about 2 months ago to haul a load of sod about 20 miles with no issues. Since it has been parked, a leak has developed in the front driver's side brake hose. I'm not sure this wasn't nicked intentionally while it was parked. Before this, there were no known issues with the brakes. The AC doesn't work, but heat does. It has Power door Locks, Power windows, (Passenger side needs help going up, probably a simple fix. The motor runs OK.) Has Power steering, 4WD.
Interior is in pretty good shape for it's age with no major rips or tears. (See photos.) Has luggage rack, Dual Fuel tanks, cruise control, running boards, bug shield, and includes spare wheel with tire. I haven't owned the vehicle that long, but the previous owner apparently serviced it regularly. It had it's oil changed in the past year. (Has one of those quick lube stickers in the window) It's not a show room new truck, and it's not being sold at those prices. If you check Kelly Blue book, you'll see it books out at $2,140-2,890 depending on what condition you consider it. Based on it's condition, and my judgement, I'm asking $1150. The first serious buyer gets it. And please, if you're not serious, don't waste my time or yours. I'm not giving it away. I'm asking a reasonable price based on its current condition.
